Why do I need Aqua-Dispersion?

They, in fact, are a primary part of producing the paints that we buy commercially to do: watercolor, gouache, tempera, acrylic, air-brush, many inks, most wood-stains, oils paints, decorative paints, and even pastels.
Many of todays paints are made with the new 'organic pigments'; their characteristic of having strong 'tinting power' (which means, you only need a very small quantity to produce a paint) makes them economically necessary in today's competative market place.
Picture it this way: They make a big tub of acrylic paint with no color. Along side it they put tubs of watercolor, gouache and tempera all without color (pigment). Then they pour a SMALL amount of 'dispersion' into each tub, stir and bottle them with the appropriate label... And artists go and purchase the same pigments as different painting mediums. With the right materials and knowledge, artists can prepare materials - as they always did in the past.
Watercolor paint is 'pigment' in a binder of Gum Arabic. Not rocket science! Take some gum arabic mix in a couple of drops of pigment-dispersion and paint!
Aqua-Dispersions are pigments pre-ground into an aqueous solution:
